I met this fellow yesterday. A good friend of mine asked me to get her copy of Fortress Of Solitude signed. Not only had I not read any of his work, I had heard his name mentioned for the first time only a couple of weeks ago. While I was standing in line, I briefly considered the possibility that one day, I would read one of this guy’s books, love it, and be upset that I didn’t get a signed copy for myself. Then I thought, Nah probably not.
